Uche Nnaji Denies Arrest Order in Alleged Certificate Forgery Case

Former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, has dismissed reports claiming that a court ordered his arrest over an alleged certificate forgery case.

Nnaji described the reports as false and misleading. He insisted that no court has issued an arrest order against him and urged the public to disregard the claims.

Nnaji Rejects Arrest Claims

Speaking on the controversy, the former minister maintained that he remains committed to the legal process.

According to him, he will continue to defend himself through the appropriate legal channels. He also expressed confidence that the truth would eventually come to light.

Nnaji argued that some of the reports circulating online do not accurately reflect the current status of the case.

Allegations Spark Public Attention

The controversy revolves around allegations concerning academic and NYSC certificates reportedly submitted during Nnaji’s ministerial screening process.

The case has attracted widespread attention in recent months. It has also generated debate among political observers and members of the public.

As a result, many Nigerians have followed developments closely while awaiting the outcome of the legal proceedings.

Reports of Court Action

Meanwhile, some media reports claimed that a Federal High Court in Abuja granted an application by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

According to daily post reporters, the agency received approval to declare Nnaji wanted after he allegedly failed to honour invitations connected to its investigation.

However, Nnaji has strongly disputed those claims. He maintains that no valid court order directing his arrest exists.

Case Remains Ongoing

Despite the conflicting claims, the legal dispute is still ongoing.

Both investigators and the former minister are expected to continue presenting their positions as the matter moves through the courts.

For now, Nnaji insists that he has not been served with any court-ordered arrest warrant and remains determined to challenge the allegations against him.
