Vietnamese electric vehicle giant VinFast has officially launched three new electric scooter models featuring rapid battery-swapping technology in the Philippines, making an aggressive bid to challenge traditional gas-powered motorcycles. The company introduced its three distinct two-wheeled models, the classic Evo, the family-friendly Feliz II, and the sporty Viper, offering riders top speeds of up to 90 km/h and a travel range of up to 150 kilometers on a single charge. By pairing these sleek electric motorcycles with a flexible battery subscription model, the company aims to dramatically lower upfront purchasing costs by approximately twenty percent while allowing riders to exchange depleted batteries for fully charged ones in roughly sixty seconds.
The official launch event took place in Makati City, drawing hundreds of motoring journalists, tech influencers, and industry stakeholders. The nationwide commercial rollout is supported by twenty-one newly opened VinFast electric motorcycle showrooms positioned across key urban hubs, including Metro Manila. To power these vehicles on daily commutes, VinFast is partnering with green infrastructure operator V-Green to deploy a nationwide network of 30,000 battery-swapping cabinets at strategic locations, including dealership hubs, local shopping malls, motorcycle repair shops, and commercial gas stations.

To encourage rapid adoption among daily commuters, VinFast announced an aggressive launch incentive offering twenty free battery swaps per month for an entire year to any customer who signs up for a battery subscription before September 30, 2026.
