Adeyemi Fake Agency Claim: FG Challenged Over PFIPC Budget Entry

Adeyemi Fake Agency Claim: FG Challenged Over PFIPC Budget Entry

The Adeyemi fake agency claim has taken a fresh turn after Adeniyi Adeyemi challenged the Federal Government’s position on the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).

According to Daily Post, he questioned how the agency appeared in the 2026 national budget despite being described as non-existent.

Adeyemi argued that the government’s explanation leaves several unanswered questions. He insisted officials should explain how a body the Presidency says does not exist received an allocation in the approved 2026 Appropriation Act.

According to Adeyemi, the issue is no longer about his personality. Instead, he said it concerns the credibility of Nigeria’s budget process. He maintained that Nigerians deserve clear answers on how the PFIPC found its way into the budget.

Furthermore, he argued that if the agency was truly fake, the government should explain who inserted it into the budget document. He added that the matter raises concerns about transparency and accountability in public finance.

Meanwhile, the Presidency has repeatedly maintained that the PFIPC does not exist. It also accused Adeyemi of forging official documents and falsely presenting himself as the agency’s Director-General. However, Adeyemi has continued to deny those allegations.

The Adeyemi fake agency claim has sparked wider public discussion. In addition, several observers have questioned how a supposedly non-existent agency could appear in a national budget approved through the legislative process.

Consequently, attention has shifted to the integrity of the 2026 budget and the procedures used during its preparation. Some stakeholders have also called for a thorough investigation into the controversy.

However, Adeyemi insists the Federal Government must provide a clear explanation. He maintained that the inclusion of the PFIPC in the budget contradicts the official claim that the agency never existed.

As the controversy continues, the Adeyemi fake agency claim remains at the centre of public debate. According to Daily Post, the outcome of ongoing investigations and legal proceedings could determine how the questions surrounding the PFIPC are finally resolved.
