Aisha Yesufu has revealed that she once asked Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to become Peter Obi’s running mate before the 2023 presidential election.
According to daily post,The activist made the disclosure while speaking about efforts to unite opposition figures ahead of the election. According to Daily Post, she believed a joint ticket could have strengthened the opposition’s chances at the polls.
Yesufu said many Nigerians wanted leading opposition politicians to work together. She explained that she personally reached out because she felt cooperation was more important than individual ambitions.
