British wrestler Benjamin Satterley, widely known by his ring name Pac, has died at the age of 40.
His representatives confirmed the sad news just one day after he competed in All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) “All Out” event in Chicago on Saturday evening.
In a statement, AEW expressed its sorrow over the sudden loss. “A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability,” the company said.
No cause of death has been provided, but his impact on the sport spans nearly two decades of global competition.
Before his time in AEW, Satterley built a strong reputation performing for major promotions including World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre in Mexico.

Tributes quickly poured in from major figures across the wrestling industry, highlighting both his athletic skill and his character outside the ring.
AEW President Tony Khan said Satterley “defined excellence” in his wrestling knowledge, skill, and “unprecedented athleticism.”
WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman also paid his respects, calling him a “tremendous talent and even finer human being.” Fellow British wrestler Will Ospreay shared a photo of the pair in the ring, describing Satterley as “the greatest export from our country” and a “true professional.”
Throughout his career, Satterley held multiple championships and performed under different personas, including Adrian Neville and “The Man that Gravity Forgot,” a nickname earned from his signature 360-degree finishing move from the top rope.
His sudden passing has left the wrestling community in shock, cutting short the career of a man widely regarded as one of the most talented performers of his generation.
