Popular social media lawyer Lans Attorney advised men on critical legal steps to take if a female guest passes out during or after intimacy.
Nigerian legal practitioner and active social media content creator, Usman Abidemi ESQ, has sparked intense online debate after releasing an emergency video addressing young men on what to do when an emergency occurs inside their private home.
Speaking to thousands of followers on his official Instagram page on Sunday, October 11, 2026, the vocal legal analyst outlined the exact steps a man must take if a female guest suddenly passes out or loses consciousness during or after sexual intercourse inside his apartment.
In his detailed public statement, Abidemi ESQ addressed the deep panic, fear, and confusion that make many young men make terrible decisions, such as fleeing their residence or attempting to hide the victim.
He warned that running away from the scene only creates immediate suspicion of murder and complicates what could otherwise be a manageable medical condition.
Opening his address with a direct question regarding how men should handle such unexpected household emergencies, Abidemi ESQ asked: “so you invited a lady over to your house and you realize that she passed out during the course of sexual intercourse or she even passed out after sexual intercourse what are you supposed to do? are you supposed to run away? no, you’re not supposed to run away.”
Explaining the very first step every man must take immediately without jumping to conclusions, the legal creator stated: “so if you find yourself in this situation the first thing you’re supposed to do is to take them to the nearest hospital. why do you need to do this? it is because you must not conclude immediately that they’re dead.”
Abidemi ESQ went further to educate his audience on medical science, revealing that fainting during or after intimacy is often caused by a real health condition rather than immediate death.
Breaking down the medical terms into simple language for his audience to understand, Abidemi ESQ explained: “some women have medical conditions that make them pass out during or after sexual intercourse. it is called coital syncope or more precisely post coital vasovagal syncope . Medical practitioners will confirm whether they’re dead.”
However, the lawyer noted that if medical doctors unfortunately certify that the person has passed away, the host must immediately involve legal guidance and report directly to law enforcement officers instead of hiding.
Guiding his viewers on the proper legal steps to take if the worst happens at the hospital, Abidemi ESQ stated: “if unfortunately they are dead, what you are supposed to do is to call your lawyer immediately, call your lawyer and immediately after that you and the lawyer go and report yourself to the station, you need to go and report yourself to the station immediately , don’t runaway, make sure you report to the police officers, go and make a statement.”
Reassuring young men about how the Nigerian legal system works, Abidemi ESQ reminded citizens that being present at the scene of a medical tragedy does not automatically make anyone a criminal under the nation’s laws.
Encouraging men to stand firm on their innocence under the law, Abidemi ESQ declared: “now once you do that, police officers will commence their own investigation, the fact that the lady died in your house does not mean you are actually automatically guilty the presumption of the law is still in your favor. you are innocent until contrary is proved pursuant to section thirty six of the constitution.”
He explained that police officers will carry out a proper medical test called an autopsy to determine the true cause of death and see if any foul play occurred.
Reassuring innocent individuals who did not commit any harm, Abidemi ESQ noted: “so when the investigation has commenced, autopsy will be conducted as the real cause of their death, then upon the conclusion of the autopsy your legal ability will be determined whether you are guilty of murder or not. but if you are very certain that you did not kill them, you did not have any hand in their cause of death, trust me you will be vindicated.”
Concluding his viral video with a realistic warning about police procedures and medical investigations in Nigeria, Abidemi ESQ advised his audience to prepare mentally for the process while praying never to encounter such an ordeal.
Giving a final sobering piece of advice to his followers, Abidemi ESQ said: “the last thing i need to tell you is that investigation is not something that will be conducted within a month or 2 weeks so my brother you need to realize that you will spend some time in prison, that is why you need to pray that you never be in this kind of situation.”
The video shared by Usman Abidemi ESQ has been widely praised as life-saving public education, with many thanking him for breaking down complex laws into plain language for everyday people.
