Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will record a comfortable victory in the Tinubu 2027 election.
According to the former Abia State governor, the President has no serious political rival because the opposition remains in tatters.
Kalu made the remark while speaking on the country’s current political situation ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
He argued that opposition parties have failed to offer a united and credible alternative ahead of the Tinubu 2027 election. As a result, he believes President Tinubu is in a strong position as political activities gradually gather momentum.
According to the senator, the country’s political situation reflects the difficulties facing opposition parties. Furthermore, he maintained that internal divisions have made it difficult for them to present a serious challenge to the President.
In addition, Kalu insisted that the ruling party currently enjoys a political advantage because there is no formidable challenger.
He stressed that opposition parties have not built the strength and unity needed to compete effectively in the next presidential election.
