2027: Timi Frank Warns Against Alleged ADC Delist Plot

Former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank, has warned that any alleged move to remove the African Democratic Congress (ADC) from the ballot ahead of the 2027 general election could threaten Nigeria’s democracy.

Timi Frank has alleged a fresh ADC delist plot ahead of the 2027 general election. He claimed some individuals want to stop the African Democratic Congress (ADC) from participating in the poll. According to him, the move aims to weaken the opposition and reduce electoral competition.

Frank said the alleged plan could involve the judiciary and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He claimed the institutions might face pressure to stop the ADC and its presidential candidate from contesting the election. Furthermore, he argued that other political events are distracting Nigerians from the alleged plot.

Frank also claimed a senior source in the Presidency shared the information with him. However, he did not provide evidence to support the allegation. Even so, he urged Nigerians to remain vigilant and defend the country’s democratic process.

Meanwhile, Frank called on the international community, especially the United States, to monitor political developments in Nigeria. He alleged that some state institutions could face pressure to act against opposition parties before the 2027 election. He insisted that the ADC delist plot deserves serious attention because it could undermine public confidence in the electoral process.

In addition, Frank urged the judiciary and INEC to remain independent and protect the rule of law. He argued that every registered political party deserves a fair opportunity to participate in the election. As a result, he warned that any attempt to block the ADC could increase political tension across the country.

Finally, Frank appealed to opposition leaders to put aside their differences and work together. Therefore, he urged all political stakeholders to protect Nigeria’s democracy and ensure that every eligible party contests the 2027 election freely.

As stated in daily post,He maintained that the alleged ADC delist plot could affect the credibility of the election if the claims prove true.
