Primate Ayodele has issued a stern warning against rigging the 2027 elections, declaring a generational curse on anyone who attempts to manipulate the votes.
The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a very strong warning to politicians, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security personnel, and youth corpers planning to manipulate or rig the 2027 general elections.
The outspoken cleric declared that anybody who attempts to steal votes or subvert the will of the people during the upcoming polls will face severe spiritual consequences.
Speaking on Monday, October 5, 2026, during a spiritual address, Primate Ayodele stated that the 2027 elections will not be business as usual because a higher divine power will be present to oversee the process.
He warned that those who take bribes or use violence to oppress voters will bring heavy trouble upon themselves and their families.
Explaining why the 2027 election is crucial for the nation, Primate Ayodele stressed that everyday Nigerians are completely tired of suffering, poverty, and lack of progress in the country.
He noted that the upcoming election is destined to bring a major shift and reshape the future of Nigeria.
Placing a stern warning on anyone planning to alter the electoral process, Primate Ayodele said: “When you take a step of rigging that election, your generation, over generations, will be cursed. If you’re a politician, INEC official, NYSC member or security operative, and you ever take a step to rig the 2027 election, your generation after generation will be cursed. The next year’s election needs to remodel Nigeria. It is going to change a lot of things.”
The man of God further warned that people who rely on political thuggery, violence, and bribery to win power will meet their end during the election cycle.
He warned both high-ranking electoral officers and field workers that taking money to compromise the election will expose them to public disgrace.

Warning those who use force against innocent voters, the cleric declared: “Anyone who intends to oppress, fight, or kill people because of the election will not see the light of day. Whether you’re INEC, you’re anything, you’re taking bribes, it will expose a lot of things, because bigger power will be in this election.”
Addressing critics who often accuse him of favoring certain political parties, Primate Ayodele clarified that he belongs to no political group or candidate.
He insisted that his duty as a prophet is to speak the plain truth as revealed to him by God, without fear or favor.
Clearing the air on his political neutrality, Ayodele said: “Me, I’m not a supporter of anybody. It’s what I see, I will say. If it’s APC, I will talk about it. If it’s PDP, I will talk about it. If it’s NDC, I will talk about it. If it’s Labour, I will talk about it. 2027 election, a lot will change. Something new will speak. God is going in another direction. That is the 2027 election. Let’s wait.”
The cleric also tackled critics who dismiss his prophecies. He advised those who do not believe in his messages to simply ignore him rather than throw insults, adding that opposition and criticism only make him stronger.
Reaffirming his focus despite attacks from critics, Primate Ayodele concluded: “Despite receiving more criticism for speaking out, the more enemies we are having, the more God is blessing us.”
