Bwala made the remarks while reacting to Obi’s recent comments on fuel subsidy removal and the creation of state police. According to him, Obi’s latest position differs from the views he expressed before the 2023 presidential election.
He alleged that Obi once supported the removal of fuel subsidy. However, Bwala said Obi has now indicated he would not implement the policy if elected president.
He also claimed that Obi previously backed the creation of state police and supported a unified foreign exchange system. Bwala argued that Obi has since changed his stance on both issues.
According to Bwala, the Tinubu administration has already implemented those policies. He said Obi’s recent comments contradict his earlier promises. He added that the remarks raise questions about the consistency of Obi’s policy positions.
