The main reason why the Canadian immigration office made this public statement is to guide workers so that nobody will lose their job or face problems with security officers.
In their message, the government explained that having a valid work permit paper is only the first simple step to working legally inside Canada.
They pointed out that many people make big mistakes because they do not pay attention to the rules written on their papers or because they forget when their permit will end.
To make things very simple for everybody to understand, the authorities listed 3 main rules that every foreign worker must follow.
The first rule is that every worker must read, understand, and obey all the conditions written on their work permit. In the exact statement made by the government, the official office stated that “foreign workers are expected to understand and comply with the conditions listed on their work permits”.
