Cubana reveals dream of becoming a Catholic priest. He opened up about the childhood ambition he never got to fulfil.
Popular Nigerian socialite and businessman Pascal Okechukwu is better known as Cubana Chief Priest. He said the dream came from his late mother’s deep Catholic faith.
According to daily post, Cuban said his mother waited many years to have a child. She then made a promise to God. She vowed to dedicate her son to His service if He blessed her with one. Therefore, she raised him with the hope of seeing him become a Catholic priest.
Cubana reveals dream that was shaped by his mother’s wish. He said he applied to a Catholic seminary. However, he failed to gain admission. As a result, his dream came to an end.
Reflecting on the experience, he said he still feels sad. He believes he disappointed his late mother. She had hoped people would one day call her “Mama Father.” Instead, life took a different turn. He eventually became known as “Chief Priest.”
Despite the setback, Cubana said he remains grateful for his Catholic upbringing. He added that the values his mother taught him still guide his life.
