Governor Dikko Radda promises total support from Katsina State for President Bola Tinubu’s second term election in 2027.
The Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has publicly promised that his entire state will give maximum votes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the upcoming 2027 presidential election.
The governor made this official promise on Sunday, September 6, 2026, during an important political gathering held in Katsina State.
Political leaders, party members, local leaders, and community supporters gathered together from all 34 local government areas across the state to hear the governor speak.
Governor Radda explained that Katsina State remains a solid home for the ruling All Progressives Congress party and that every elected leader in the state stands firmly behind the government.
The primary reason why Governor Radda is urging all residents of Katsina State to support President Tinubu for a second term in office is because of the economic reforms introduced by the central government.
The governor pointed out that these changes have helped state governments and local councils get more federal money to build roads, fix public schools, supply clean water, and improve security for local farming villages.
Governor Radda explained that the long political friendship between the northern state of Katsina and the south-western part of Nigeria has always brought good development and political peace to the country.
He added that supporting the president to complete eight full years in power will ensure that ongoing road and economic projects across Northern Nigeria are fully finished without interruption.
The governor assured national leaders of the party that political mobilization teams are already visiting every village, market square, and ward across the state to talk directly with ordinary citizens.
Explaining the strong political position of the state during his official address, the governor emphasized that Katsina belongs entirely to the ruling party.

Confirming the state’s total commitment to the president, Dikko Radda stated that “Katsina State is an APC state. Every elected person in Katsina State is a member of the All Progressives Congress, and I want to assure you that Katsina State has a special attachment to President Bola Tinubu”.
Asking citizens and voters to look at the positive financial changes in government administration, the governor highlighted how state revenues have grown.
Urging residents to remain patient with national policies, Dikko Radda noted that economic reforms had “increased resources available to state governments and created greater financial autonomy for local governments”.
Katsina APC leaders have resolved to mobilize grassroots voters across all 34 local government councils to secure victory in 2027.
