Poco Lee’s management has thanked Zlatan and others for standing by the dancer during his UK legal case while asking the public to stay away from unverified stories about the matter.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Poco Lee’s manager, Faleye “Dee-Y” Adedoyin, publicly acknowledged the unwavering support of Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile and other allies during this challenging period. Adedoyin emphasized that their involvement has been “extremely supportive and helpful,” noting that their efforts have been vital in navigating the complexities of the situation.
“We deeply value their ongoing support and dedication, and we kindly request that everyone refrain from spreading negative narratives,” the statement read, signed off by “Poco’s Management.”
The appeal comes in response to a wave of social media commentary, notably from social commentator Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan. Otse recently questioned reports about the nature of Poco Lee’s UK trip, claiming the entertainer traveled for a Zlatan show rather than a Davido concert. He also urged the public to allow the legal process to take its course without premature defense, stating that “court case na stress” and praying for a swift resolution.
This public relations maneuver unfolds against the backdrop of a complex and protracted legal battle. Poco Lee was granted bail on September 11 ahead of a scheduled appearance at Snaresbrook Crown Court. However, the September 15 plea and trial preparation hearing was adjourned to February 8, 2027, with the main trial subsequently scheduled for March 8, 2027, after the charge sheet was reportedly unavailable and the entertainer did not appear in court.

The 21-year-old entertainer is currently facing five serious sexual offense charges in the UK, including attempted rape, two counts of rape, and two counts of assault by penetration. He has consistently denied the allegations and has not been convicted of any offense.
As the legal proceedings stretch well into next year, Poco Lee’s management continues to emphasize the fundamental principle of the presumption of innocence. They are urging the media and the public to treat allegations as mere claims rather than evidence of guilt.
