Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has predicted that Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, will secure a second term in office.
According to daily post, Ayodele made the prediction while speaking about the forthcoming Osun State governorship election.
According to the cleric, Adeleke has already received divine backing for the election and will emerge victorious. He said, “In the Osun election, God has already anointed Ademola Adeleke to secure a second term in office.”
The prediction comes as political parties intensify their preparations for the election. Adeleke, who is seeking another term, faces a strong challenge from the opposition as the contest draws closer.
However, Ayodele warned the All Progressives Congress, APC, against assuming that its political structure would automatically guarantee victory. The cleric said the opposition party would need more than its existing structure to defeat the incumbent governor.
He also urged political actors in the state to approach the election with caution and avoid actions that could undermine the process. Meanwhile, the Osun election has continued to attract attention as the major political parties position themselves for a closely watched contest.
The governor’s supporters have maintained that his administration deserves another term, while opposition groups are working to prevent his re-election. Ayodele’s prediction adds another voice to the growing debate over who will control Osun State after the election.
