Political activist Aisha Yesufu has urged her supporters to keep their attention on one goal, helping Peter Obi emerge as Nigeria’s next president in the 2027 general election.
The activist made the appeal in a post shared on her X handle on Thursday, stressing that supporters should not allow other political conversations to distract them from the task ahead. According to her, the priority is ensuring Peter Obi wins the presidential election and is sworn into office in 2027.
Yesufu, a long-time supporter of Obi, said the movement should remain united and committed to achieving victory at the polls rather than getting involved in debates that do not contribute to that objective.

“My dear supporters, remember we have moved on and focused on the bigger picture.”
The activist explained that while there may be issues worth discussing, now is not the time to lose focus.
According to her, every conversation should revolve around how to secure victory for Peter Obi in the 2027 presidential election.
She added that supporters should ignore discussions that do not contribute to that mission until after the election.
“Yes, there may be issues worth responding to, but for now, any conversation that is not about the 2027 presidential election and how to get Peter Obi elected and sworn into office should be ignored,” she stated.

Yesufu also encouraged supporters to maintain what she described as “tunnel vision” throughout the campaign period.
She said every effort, discussion and strategy should be directed toward helping Obi succeed at the next presidential election.
According to the activist, staying united and avoiding unnecessary distractions will strengthen the movement ahead of the polls.
