Prophet Odumeje stated he does not collect tithes, slamming churches that focus more on money than performing miracles.

Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, porpularly known as Odumeje or The Indaboski Bahose, has once again caused heavy traffic across social media platforms after openly declaring that his religious ministry does not collect tithes from church members.

The outspoken general overseer of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry made this surprising revelation during a deep interview session on the popular digital talk show, the Honest Bunch Podcast, which was uploaded online on Monday.

During the explosive conversation, the clergyman did not hold back his thoughts as he accused many modern worship centers of focusing too much on financial collections rather than showing the raw spiritual power of God through miracles and healing.

The conversation drew massive attention online as the controversial prophet explained how his own approach to church administration differs sharply from what many churchgoers experience every Sunday.

Explaining why he avoids regular monetary demands and criticizing religious bodies that constantly pressure people for funds, Prophet Odumeje stated: “Those people that collect tithes and teach tithes every day when you come to church, they will be interested in making sure that they clear your pockets. And there is no practical evidence and miracles that you will see. The only thing is stories. That is not the kind of church I run.”

The flamboyant pastor made it clear that his primary assignment in the spiritual realm is not to teach people how to give money, but to show undeniable proof of God’s power.

Emphasizing the core purpose of his ministry and why he refuses to make money teachings a priority during his church programs, Odumeje declared: “My mission on earth is demonstration of power. All the teaching of tithe and teaching of giving, I am not in that area.”

Even though he openly condemned how some religious leaders handle money matters, the prophet made sure to clarify that he does not hate tithing as a biblical practice, noting that it should be a personal decision between an individual believer and God.

Explaining his personal stance on the matter and warning against manipulating church members with false claims about salvation, Odumeje added: “I don’t collect tithes. Nobody pays me tithes. I am not saying that tithe is bad. It’s a decision between you and God if you want to pay tithe. Tithe is real. But it is something that you must decide. Not something that somebody will be brainwashing you, forcing you.”

The cleric also spoke out strongly against preachers who scare innocent worshippers into paying money by telling them they will miss heaven if they fail to drop their cash in the offering basket.

His bold remarks have since sparked wide debates across digital spaces, with many internet users praising his honesty while others have argued about the true biblical meaning of Christian giving.
