Kebbi APC Chieftain Withdraws Support for Tinubu Over Lack of Recognition

Kebbi APC Chieftain Withdraws Support for Tinubu Over Lack of Recognition

A Kebbi APC chieftain Tinubu supporter, Adamu Yahaya, popularly known as Adam Fakai, has announced that he is no longer backing President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.

According to Daily Post, Yahaya said he made the decision after feeling ignored despite spending the last two years promoting the Tinubu administration. He claimed he used his own time, money and energy to publicise government projects and defend the president online.

The Kebbi APC chieftain Tinubu supporter said he expected some level of appreciation from leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), but that never happened. Instead, he alleged that some politicians used his photos and videos to promote government projects without acknowledging his efforts.

Yahaya also expressed disappointment over what he described as a lack of recognition from both state and national APC leaders. He added that he believes he would have been treated differently if he came from another state.

Despite withdrawing his support, Yahaya thanked those who stood by him throughout his political activities over the past two years. He also wished President Tinubu and the APC well going forward.
