2027: Umahi insists Tinubu has no opposition

Political discussions ahead of the 2027 general election gathered fresh momentum after Minister of Works David Umahi insisted that Tinubu has no opposition. He argued that no potential challenger has matched President Bola Tinubu’s record in office.

Umahi said the Tinubu administration has gained public recognition through infrastructure projects and key reforms. As a result, he believes the president has strengthened his political standing and earned the confidence of many Nigerians.

The minister also dismissed the chances of opposition parties. He said they have not produced a candidate with the leadership qualities, experience or track record needed to mount a serious challenge.

Furthermore, he maintained that Tinubu’s performance in governance has set him apart from other political figures.

Additionally, Umahi cited ongoing road projects as evidence of the administration’s commitment to national development. He said the projects will improve transportation.

They will also boost economic activities and create more opportunities for Nigerians. According to him, more citizens are beginning to appreciate the government’s efforts despite the country’s economic challenges.

Speaking further, Umahi expressed confidence that Tinubu has no opposition because of the administration’s achievements and visible projects.

He urged Nigerians to continue supporting the government. He added that its policies would deliver greater benefits in the coming years.

Even so, Umahi maintained that President Tinubu remains the strongest contender because of his performance and achievements in office.
