“Show Love, Stay United” — Wike Shares Emotional Eid Message With Abuja Families

As Muslims across Nigeria prepare for Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has appealed to residents of Abuja to use the season to spread love, peace, and kindness.

In his Eid message, Wike encouraged families to reflect on the true meaning of the celebration, which centers on sacrifice, obedience, and compassion. He urged residents to care for one another and remember those facing difficult times.

The minister also had special words for children and young people in the Federal Capital Territory. He advised them to remain respectful, peaceful, and hopeful about the future while enjoying the festive period with their loved ones.

According to Wike, unity among residents remains important for the growth and stability of Abuja. He praised the peaceful relationship between different religious and ethnic groups in the city and called for continued tolerance during and after the celebrations.

He further assured residents that security agencies and relevant authorities are working to ensure a safe and peaceful Eid celebration across the FCT.

Wike ended his message by wishing Muslim faithful a joyful Eid-el-Kabir celebration filled with happiness, prayers, and togetherness.
