Speed Darlington popularly known as “akpi” has continued to defend his performance after losing to fellow entertainers in their celebrity boxing match, insisting he deserves another chance in the ring.
Following the highly talked-about fight in Lagos, Speed Darlington argued that the match was not entirely balanced because Portable already had previous boxing experience before stepping into the ring. According to him, he entered the bout with little preparation compared to his opponent.
The singer maintained that despite the defeat, he showed courage by accepting the challenge and entertaining fans. He also claimed that with proper training and enough preparation time, the outcome of a rematch could be different.
His supporters on social media have also backed his demand for another fight, with many saying Speed Darlington displayed confidence and determination throughout the event. Some fans argued that he should be given credit for stepping outside music to participate in such a physically demanding contest.
The rivalry between both entertainers continues to generate reactions online, with many fans now calling for an official rematch between the two celebrities.
