Kogi PDP Starts Grassroots Campaign for Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan’s 2027 Re election

The Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi State has started rallying voters to return Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan to the Senate in 2027.

Leaders and members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi State have started a massive voter mobilization effort across towns and villages.

The official political drive was launched on Thursday, September 3, 2026, across local government areas in the Kogi Central Senatorial District.

Party leaders, community elders, and youth groups gathered at various ward centers to rally grassroots voters, print campaign materials, and urge residents to support Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan to win a second term in the Nigerian Senate during the upcoming 2027 general elections.

The main reason why party leaders started this early campaign is to build strong support among local voters and show the good work the female lawmaker has done for her people.

The party explained that Senator Natasha has brought real development, school support, road repairs, and empowerment programs to women and young people in her constituency.

Party leaders stressed that keeping her in office for another four years will allow her to bring more government projects, create jobs for unemployed youths, and push for national policies that help local communities.

During the grassroots campaign meetings, party coordinators reminded local communities to register for their voter cards and check their names on the voter register so everyone can vote smoothly when election day arrives.

Explaining why the party is standing firmly behind her re-election bid, party officials praised her strong dedication to her people.

With confidence in her leadership, the PDP campaign leadership stated that “this support is not about politics alone; it is about standing with a representative who has demonstrated that she understands the aspirations of her constituents”.

Encouraging residents to stand together and turn their support into real election results, campaign coordinators urged that “communities across Kogi Central remain united and ensure that their support for the senator translates into votes in the 2027 election”.

The Peoples Democratic Party has already given Senator Natasha her official candidate certificate to represent the party in the 2027 race.
