Peter Okoye has fired back at his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, with fresh allegations over Northside Music and the brothers’ long-running dispute.
According to an Instagram video, Peter claimed that Jude failed to address the real issues he raised. According to him, the controversy is not about the registration of Northside Music but about the company’s bank account, ownership structure and how royalty payments were handled.
Peter alleged that Jude focused on the company’s registration documents while avoiding questions about the bank account. He maintained that the explanation did not answer the concerns he had publicly raised.
According to Peter, the address used for the Northside Music bank account differs from the address on the company’s registration documents. He questioned why the bank account allegedly carried an address linked to Jude’s wife instead of the company’s registered address.
Peter argued that the explanation given about the account opening process did not make sense. He also questioned how a bank official could allegedly use a personal address without proper documentation.
The singer further alleged that Northside Music lists only Jude and his wife as directors and shareholders. He claimed that neither he nor his twin brother, Paul Okoye, appeared as shareholders despite the company allegedly receiving payments connected to P-Square’s music catalogue.
According to Peter, he believes digital music distributors and aggregators were instructed to send royalty payments to Northside Music. He said that remains one of the major issues behind the ongoing dispute.
Peter also addressed another legal battle involving the family. He alleged that Jude recently filed court documents claiming he created the P-Square group and brought Peter and Paul into the music industry.
Reacting to the claim, Peter described it as false. He argued that P-Square had already released music before 2005, the year Jude reportedly referenced in the court documents. Peter maintained that the group’s history does not support that timeline.
During the video, Peter also spoke about forgiveness. He said he has forgiven his brothers personally. However, he added that forgiveness does not mean remaining silent over issues he believes deserve answers.
Peter insisted that he will continue speaking about the matter because he wants the truth to come out. He maintained that his comments are intended to explain his side of the story rather than create more conflict.
According to Peter, he will continue to address the issues publicly as the legal matters progress. The allegations remain disputed, and the courts are expected to determine the issues raised by the parties.
