After 7 Years In UNILAG, Actress Sunshine Rosman Sets Eyes On Foreign Films

Actress Sunshine Rosman finished UNILAG after 7 years, celebrating her sign out and revealing plans to act in Indian and Spanish films.

Popular Nigerian movie star Sunshine Rosman, also known to many fans as Shine Rosman, has officially completed her university education at the University of Lagos after seven years as an undergraduate.

The young actress participated in her official sign out ceremony on the school campus in Akoka, Lagos State, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

Taking to her social media page to share pictures of her sign out shirt and celebrations, the film star expressed deep relief and happiness that her long academic journey had finally come to a successful end.

Right after finishing school, the actress revealed her next big dream: to expand her acting career beyond Nigeria and play lead roles in major Indian and Spanish movies.

The main reason why Sunshine Rosman spent seven full years pursuing her first degree at the university is that balancing heavy movie shooting schedules with difficult school lectures was extremely tough.

Many times, she had to choose between writing semester examinations or accepting big movie roles from top directors.

For example, when she was preparing for school tests, she got a major offer to act as Amanda Sparkles in Kemi Adetiba’s popular Netflix production titled To Kill a Monkey.

Instead of dropping out, she worked hard to write her school papers before joining the movie set. Having successfully navigated those difficult years with the help of supportive friends, her primary goal now is to take her unique looks and acting skills into international film industries like Bollywood in India and Spanish cinema.

Celebrating her graduation milestone and reflecting on the tough road she walked, Sunshine Rosman shared an emotional message with her followers.

Writing on her Instagram page right after her sign-out ceremony, Sunshine Rosman wrote, “These past 7 years have been challenging, but we overcame & we really did it together! Thank you, Lord & thank you, my friends”.

Explaining why she wants to act in foreign movies and how her facial features fit international roles, she shared her thoughts during a broadcast talk show.

Speaking on her dreams to enter Indian and Spanish film sets, Sunshine Rosman stated, “I’ve seen that I can play an Indian character very comfortably, in terms of my features and what I look like. I want to be a lead in an Indian or Spanish movie because of my features and what I look like”.

Showing how serious she is about making this international move happen, she added that she is ready to spend one or two years learning foreign languages if a big movie role requires it.

Fans, fellow actors, and schoolmates have been sending congratulatory messages to celebrate her determination.

Observers note that her mixed family background, having a mother from Imo State and a late Canadian father, gives her a unique international look that could help her break into global film markets.
