The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ajibola Basiru, has described the Osun election as a defining moment for the future of the state.
According to daily post,Basiru made the remark during a high-level strategy meeting at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja ahead of the August 15 governorship poll.
According to a statement he signed on Tuesday and released to journalists in Osogbo, the party must remain focused as the election draws closer.
He said the Osun election will shape the direction of the state for years to come. Therefore, he urged APC members to stay united and work together to achieve victory.
Furthermore, Basiru encouraged party supporters to remain committed throughout the campaign. He stressed that discipline, teamwork and dedication will improve the party’s chances at the polls.
Meanwhile, he reminded members that every vote matters. As a result, he called on them to reach more voters and strengthen the party’s support across the state.
The APC chieftain expressed confidence in the party’s preparations. However, he maintained that success depends on sustained effort and unity among members.
