Actress Doris Ogala accuses Pastors Chris Okafor, Johnson Suleman, Jerry Eze, and Governor Alex Otti of conspiring to send her to prison.

Popular Nigerian movie actress and political candidate, Doris Ogala, has made serious public accusations against four well-known figures in Nigeria, alleging that they worked together to put her behind bars.

The actress, who is running for governor in Abia State under the African Action Congress (AAC) party, named Pastor Chris Okafor, Apostle Johnson Suleman, Pastor Jerry Eze, and Abia State Governor Alex Otti, saying they are all behind her current detention in prison.

The public outcry happened right after the Federal High Court in Lagos State ordered police to keep Doris Ogala at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre.

The judge sent her to prison to wait for her official bail hearing after police brought her to court on charges of internet bullying, harassment, and trying to collect money by force from Pastor Chris Okafor.

The police claimed she posted private pictures of the pastor and harassed him online after saying they were in a relationship since 2017.

Hours after leaving the courtroom, messages appeared on her personal social media page showing her anger and pointing fingers at the prominent religious and political leaders.

Explaining her situation to her followers, Doris Ogala posted on her page:

“Jerry Eze, Suleman Johnson and Chris Okafor are responsible for my remand. Alex Oti is fully behind my remand as well. They are afraid of their secret I know… The secret I know is too heavy. That’s why.”

The movie star claimed that her court trouble is not just about a private relationship problem, but a legal plan to destroy her political dream of becoming the governor of Abia State.

She urged members of the public to see through the charges brought against her and look at the bigger political picture.

In another emotional message shared on her page, she stated:

“Alex Oti is fully behind my remand as well. 1 woman, 5 men. Suleman Johnson, Jerry Eze, Chris Okafor, Alex Oti. I big pass una. They are afraid of their secret I know. All of them are responsible. Believe me. They want to stop my campaign as governor of Abia State.”

Ogala told the public that the law is being used against her because of a personal quarrel between a man and a woman.

Appealing to the public for help, she wrote:

“God will fight this battle. Today is Doris, tomorrow it may be you. Let’s fight against weaponization of law between boyfriend and girlfriend issue. Chris, this is all you can do. Nothing more. Suleman Johnson, Jerry Eze, una know nau. The secret I know is too heavy. That’s why.”

In another message, she raised alarms about her safety while inside the prison walls, telling her fans that her life might be in danger because of the secrets she claims to hold against the men.

Expressing fear for her safety, she added:

“U guys are afraid of me. That’s why you want me gone. All of us go die one day. I’m not afraid to die. There’s plot to eliminate me in prison… If anything happen to me, hold them responsible.”

Doris Ogala remains at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre in Lagos while her legal team prepares to argue for her release when the court opens again to hear her bail request.

Up to this moment, Pastor Jerry Eze, Apostle Johnson Suleman, and Governor Alex Otti have not issued official statements responding to the online allegations made by the actress.
