A 48-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly tricking a 13-year-old housegirl and taking her to his home, where he sexually assaulted her overnight.
The Adamawa State Police Command made the case public. The man, Adamu Mohammed, lives alone in Yolde Pate,located at the Yola South Local Government Area. Police say he lured the girl into his apartment and kept her there all night while abusing her sexually.
According to the police spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the girl had been reported missing by her guardian. The guardian only reported her missing after searching everywhere for her and was no where to be found.
As Stated by the Daily news post,The police spokesman added that Adamu Mohammed will be taken to court after police finish their investigation.
