Bauchi APC Reacts to Defections, Says Party Remains Strong Despite Exits

The Bauchi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to recent defections from the party. The leadership said the movement of some members will not weaken its structure or affect its political plans.

The Bauchi APC reacts to defections by assuring supporters that the party remains united and focused. The party’s State Publicity secretary, Mohammad Dauda, said every politician has the right to choose a political party. However, he maintained that the exit of some members would not reduce the APC’s strength in the state.

According to Mohammed, the party continues to gain support from new members across Bauchi State. Therefore, the leadership is concentrating on expanding its grassroots network and strengthening the party ahead of future elections.

Furthermore, the party secretary described political defections as part of the democratic process. He urged APC members to remain committed and avoid distractions caused by recent changes in political affiliations.

He added that the party welcomes individuals who share its vision for Bauchi State. At the same time, he said those who choose to leave have the freedom to make their own decisions.
