Cubana Chief Priest is into money laundering EFCC should investigate him ~House of Representatives Chinedu Ogah Says

Federal lawmaker Chinedu Ogah called out Cubana Chief Priest in a detailed video and demanded an EFCC probe after the socialite criticized Governor Nwifuru.

A member of the House of Representatives named Honourable Chinedu Ogah released a very long and angry video on social media to call out popular nightclub owner Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest.

The politician, who represents the people of Ikwo and Ezza South Federal Constituency in Ebonyi State, decided to speak out after the celebrity barman publicly asked the Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru, to resign.

Cubana Chief Priest had claimed in an earlier video that Ebonyi State was not developing like other states in the South-East region. This argument caused a very big verbal fight online between the government official and the nightlife businessman.

The federal lawmaker said Cubana Chief Priest had no right or training to tell an elected governor how to do his job. To make sure the public understood his anger, Honourable Chinedu Ogah asked many strong questions directly in the video.

Targeting the celebrity barman’s source of fame and lifestyle, the lawmaker asked, “Who is Cubana Chief Priest? What does he do for a living? Who gave him the audacity to speak against the Ebonyi State Governor?”

Continuing his questioning of the celebrity’s daily habits, Ogah asked, “What is the address that gives him the impetus to speak against our governor, the most performing governor in Nigeria? Is it about drinking? Or eating 20 plates of food at a time?”

The lawmaker also attacked the businessman’s political background and claimed that popular internet followers do not translate to political power.

Pointing out his past attempt at politics, Ogah said, “He says he is popular; why didn’t he win the primary election in Imo State?”

The federal politician went further to accuse the nightlife personality of working against political leaders and offending the entire leadership of the state.

Defending his state leaders, the lawmaker stated, “He is part of those discrediting President Tinubu’s support in the South East. He should withdraw that statement and apologise to Ebonyians. He is insulting Ebonyians. He is insulting us as National Assembly members and other well-meaning stakeholders of this state”.

During the main part of his recorded message, the politician asked Nigeria’s anti corruption agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), to step in and investigate how the celebrity makes his money.

Demanding a full investigation, Ogah alleged, “Is it money laundering that he did that is making him speak against the governor? He arranged hoodlums to steal at the stadium and took all the things to his house. I urged the EFCC to investigate him; he is just a child; he is not yet up to 40”.

The lawmaker wants law enforcement to look into the celebrity’s businesses immediately. Cubana Chief Priest has threatened legal action, challenging Ogah to bring evidence to court for all his statements.
