The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a man suspected to be involved in the kidnapping of three children in Gwalamba,Yola North Local Government Area of the state.
According to the command, the suspect was tracked,One Adamu Yahaya of Hosere, Jambutu, Yola North Local Government Area has been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command in connection with the siblings’ abduction and has being taken into custody as part of ongoing efforts to uncover those behind the crime.
SP Suleiman Nguroje, the State Police Public Relations Officer, disclosed in a statement that on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Samaila Musa of Hullere Gwalamba, Yola North LGA, reported to the State Intelligence Department (SID) that three of his sons were kidnapped on June 12, 2026 and taken to an unknown location.
While making the statement He listed the names and age of the three children which are Adamu Samaila-24,Bital Abdurahman-8 and Yau Sani Baba Iyali-10.
According to daily news post,The police added that investigations are ongoing and efforts are underway to arrest other suspects linked to the abduction, based on information obtained from the suspect already in custody.”
